The Approve feature is designed to streamline your sales process and enhance client interaction. This allows your lawn care clients to view, approve, and directly convert quotes into jobs with ease.

What is the Approve Feature?

The Approve feature integrates seamlessly into our existing quote system. Here's how it benefits both you and your clients:


  • Quick Review: Clients can now review the details of your quote directly from their email or through the client portal, without needing to navigate through multiple pages or contact you for clarification.
  • One-Click Approval: With the addition of an "Approve" button, clients can instantly agree to the terms of the quote. This action not only confirms their acceptance but also signals to you that the job is ready to be scheduled or started.
  • Job Creation: You will automatically receive a quote-approved notification once the client clicks on the Approve button on the quote. You can then create the job using your House of Yards app. This reduces administrative work and speeds up the transition from quote to job completion.

How to Use the Approve Feature
  1. Send a Quote:
  2. Client Views Quote:
    • Your client receives an email with a link to view the quote.
  3. Client Approves Quote:
    • If satisfied with the quote, the client clicks the "Approve" button. This action confirms the quote and you will receive an email notifying you the quote has been approved.
  4. New Job Creation:
    • Navigate to Quotes, and click on the corresponding quote entry. On the same quote page, you can click "Create Job" to quickly create a new job based on the quote details. All information is automatically populated.
Quote StatusDescription
OpenQuote was created but hasn't been viewed.
ViewedThe quote was viewed by clients who clicked on the link in the quote email.
ApprovedClient clicks on the "Approve" button on the quote.
ClosedIf a job is created from the quote, the quote status changes to "Closed".
If you made changes to the quote by clicking Update Quote, then send the revised quote to the client. The status of the quote will become "Open". If the client clicks on the quote to view it, the status will change to "Viewed". If the client approves the quote, the status will automatically be updated to "Approved". If a job is created from the quote, the quote status changes to "Closed". You will no longer be able to update or send the quote. You can also manually change the quote status from "Open" to "Approved" or "Closed" by updating the quote.
