Adding or Editing City Names with ZIP Codes

You can add more detailed location information using ZIP codes in addition to city selections. This enhancement allows you to fine-tune the instant price quote feature, ensuring it only appears for specific ZIP codes within your service area. This is particularly useful in large cities where your services may only cover certain ZIP codes rather than the entire city.

1. Navigate to Places: Log in the House of Yards app and go to the Places section.
2. Edit or Add New City Names: Click on Edit icon to modify an existing city or Add New City to include a new one.
3. Add ZIP Codes: In the city details, you'll find an option to add ZIP codes. Enter the ZIP codes that fall within your service area.
4. Save Your Changes: After adding the necessary ZIP codes, click Save to complete the setup.
   
   

Once specific ZIP codes are added, only those ZIP codes will show instant quote pricing on the booking page. All other ZIP codes will be excluded.

If no ZIP codes are added, all ZIP codes within the city will display instant quote pricing on your booking page.

Imagine you provide landscaping services in a large city like New York. Instead of showing instant price quotes for every potential customer in the city, you can specify that only customers in ZIP codes 10001, 10002, and 10003 receive instant quotes. This way, if a customer from ZIP code 10004 tries to get an instant quote, they won't see the option on the booking page, as your service doesn't cover that area.
